The NXT North American Title match is official for night two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
Bronson Reed outlasted Leon Ruff, Dexter Lumis, LA Knight, Cameron Grimes, and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott in a gauntlet match at night one of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. The bout came down to Scott, who entered second, and Reed, who entered third.
Reed was able to put Scott away with Tsunami after kicking out of three House Call kicks.
With this victory, Reed will face Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship on Thursday, April 8 at night two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
The gauntlet match was a little different than normal gauntlet matches as new competitors entered every three minutes instead of after an elimination. Eliminations occurred via pinfall or submission.
The gauntlet match was set up on the March 31 episode of NXT when 12 men competed in a battle royal. The final six men qualified for the gauntlet match with the order of the gauntlet being determined by the order of elimination in the battle royal.
