Ace Austin is coming for the gold.
At IMPACT Emergence on August 20, Ace Austin defeated Moose, Chris Sabin, and Sami Callian in a fatal four-way bout to become the top contender for the IMPACT World Title.
Austin picked up the victory after Callihan hit Moose with a chair, allowing Austin to roll up Moose for the victory.

The IMPACT World Title is currently held by Christian Cage, who defeated Kenny Omega on the debut episode of AEW Rampage on August 13 to capture the gold. Austin is a former two-time IMPACT X-Division Champion.
IMPACT confirmed that Austin will challenge Christian for the belt at Victory Road.
