The New Day will face Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin on Smackdown.
Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan has created a number one contenders match between former Smackdown Tag-Team Champions The New Day and the team of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. Last week, the two groups were involved in a pancake eating contest which turned into a match. Bryan says those antics need to end.

Gable and Benjamin lost to the champions The Usos at WWE Royal Rumble. Last year, The New Day had a series of matches with The Usos at pay-per-views. The winner of the match on Tuesday will face The Usos at WWE Fastlane which will be the last Smackdown branded pay-per-view before WWE goes back to co-branded shows.
