NWA Announces 'Champions Series' To Debut In July

The Champions Series is coming to the National Wrestling Alliance.

At the start of NWA Powerrr, Joe Galli announced NWA Champions Series will begin on Tuesday, July 13. The series will be based on points.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis and NWA Women's Champion Kamille will be involved along with "other legends." The NWA Television Title is currently held by Da Pope, the National Title is vacant with Chris Adonis and JTG set to battle for the belt, and the NWA Tag Team Titles are held by Aron Stevens & Kratos.

Further information will be announced in the coming weeks.

NWA will hold two pay-per-view events during the final weekend of August in St. Louis. On August 28, NWA will hold Empowerrr, it's first all-women's pay-per-view. Mickie James will serve as the executive producer of the event. The following night, NWA will hold its 73rd Anniversary event.
