Nick Aldis issues a call to action for NWA fans!
In a new video on social media, the NWA has announced that its World Champion, Nick Aldis will appear at ROH Free Enterprise on February 9. This is a free-to-attend event being thrown by Ring of Honor which will not be shown on any streaming platform.
In the video, Aldis talks about wanting to establish that Baltimore, Maryland, where the show will be held, is "NWA country" and this show should be attended by NWA fans to show support for the brand. Nick would also challenge Marty Scurll to lace up his boots and face him in the ring.
"As many of you know, Marty Scurll was just announced to appear in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Powerrr tapings on the twenty-sixth. Good for you, Marty. I see that once again, you've gone over my head and gone directly to management to make yourself part of the most talked about, hottest, show in pro wrestling," Aldis began in the video posted on Twitter. "So I decided to give you a little receipt, a bit like last weekend in Atlanta and Concord. I've gone around you and gone to your bosses and I'm coming to Free Enterprise in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the big free show for all the Ring of Honor fans as a thank you for their support and to set the tone for the new era of Ring of Honor wrestling. Right. Here's the thing. This is a call to action for the NWA fans. I want all of you to show up in Baltimore, wear your NWA colors. The tickets are free. Go to ROHWrestling.com [and] simply request them. But this is about Baltimore, Maryland being NWA country and Marty I will be there. I hope you will, too. And I hope, for once, you will actually strap on your wrestling gear and see me in the ring."
