The NWA World Women's Championship will headline NWA 74 Night One.
During the August 16 episode of NWA Powerrr, the broadcast team confirmed that the title match between Kamille and Taya Valkyrie will be the main event of the show. On Powerrr, Kamille picked up a non-title victory over Hayley Shadows.

Valkyrie made her NWA debut at the Alwayz Ready pay-per-view in June. Since then, she has quickly risen through the ranks, and she earned a title shot by defeating KiLynn King on the July 26 episode of NWA Powerrr.
Valkyrie currently holds multiple titles, including the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Championship. She will aim to win more gold when she faces Kamille at the pay-per-view.
Kamille won the NWA World Women's Championship at NWA When Our Shadows Fall on June 6, 2021. As of this writing, she has been the champion for 435 days and counting.
NWA 74 will be held on August 27 & 28 from The Chase in St. Louis. Both nights of the event will air on FITE TV.
