Cody has a chance to hold the title that his father held a number of times.

During the earlier stages of the 'All In' press conference that was held today in Chicago, the owner of the 'National Wrestling Alliance' Billy Corgan came to the podium and stated that he is honored to have partnered with Cody and The Young Bucks for 'All In' and that talent from the NWA will featured on the show in some fashion. Cody then followed up by making a match official for the event. If Nick Aldis is able to hold on to the NWA's top prize until September 1st then Aldis will be defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at 'All In' against Cody.

Cody's father "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes is a member of the NWA Hall Of Fame and has held an abundance of championships throughout the territories that the NWA expanded into.

As mentioned above Rey Mysterio has been announced for 'All In' as well as a number of other big-name wrestlers. Head over to Fightful's event article to read up on who else is 'All In'.
