NWA World Women's Championship Changes Hands At NWA When Our Shadows Fall

The NWA World Women's Championship has changed hands.

On June 6th, 2021, NWA held its When Our Shadows Fall event. The co-main event of the show featured Serena Deeb defending her title against Kamille. The Champion came into the match nursing a knee injury, something which Kamille was sure to focus on and take advantage of.

The two women had a back and forth match, with Deeb also targeting Kamille's left leg and arm. She was also able to counter her signature move a few times, having the powerhouse thoroughly scouted. Kamille would eventually lock in a half-crab submission hold before releasing and delivering a spear for the pin and the win.

This is Kamille's first reign with the NWA World Women's Championship.

Serena Deed held the title for over 220 days. She first won it from Thunder Rosa back in October 2020. She successfully defended the belt last weekend at AEW's Double or Nothing against Riho.
