NWA World Women's Championship Match Set For NWA 74 Night 1

Kamille will defend the NWA World Women's Championship at NWA 74 Night 1.

On the special "EmPowerrr" edition of NWA Powerrr on July 26, Taya Valkyrie faced KiLynn King in a #1 Contender's Match for the title. After a hard-fought match, Valkyrie emerged victorious. In doing so, she prevented King from earning a rematch; the latter previously challenged Kamille for the title at NWA Alwayz Ready.

Due to her victory, Valkyrie will challenge Kamille for the title on the first night of event on August 27.

Valkyrie is one of the most decorated women's wrestlers in the world today. She currently holds multiple titles, including the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship. She is also a former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion.

On the same episode where Valkyrie earned a title shot, Kamille successfully defended her title. Chelsea Green challenged for the gold, and she came up short, though Matt Cardona interfered in the match on her behalf.

Kamille has held the title since NWA When Our Shadows Fall on June 6, 2021. She beat Serena Deeb to win the championship.

On NWA Powerrr, Madusa announced the arrival of the NWA Women's TV Championship. More information is available here.
