NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match Confirmed For NWA Hard Times 3

Matt Cardona will challenge for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at NWA Hard Times 3.

Cardona has been feuding with Murdoch in recent weeks, especially since he returned to the ring at NWA 74. Cardona previously held the world title, but he had to vacate it due to injury at NWA Alwayz Ready, a pay-per-view that was named after him. There, Murdoch won the title by defeating Nick Aldis, Sam Shaw, and Thom Latimer. Murdoch later retained the gold against Tyrus at NWA 74.

On the September 20 episode of NWA Powerrr, Kyle Davis confirmed that Cardona will get a shot at the title at NWA Hard Times 3, which will be held at the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center in Chalmette, Louisiana.

Cardona beat Murdoch to win the title at NWA PowerrrTrip in February, so this bout will be the latest chapter of their rivalry.

In a recent interview with Fightful, Murdoch discussed his reign as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. You can check out his comments here.
