NXT Female Referee Presides Over Men's Match At House Show

Independent wrestler Kennadi Brink made news a few weeks ago when she was hired by NXT to be their first full-time female referee. There was speculation that she would work the Women's Tournament (later named The Mae Young Classic) as well, and while we don't have confirmation of that yet, we do have photos of her in-ring refereeing debut with the company, which she made last night at the Orlando house show.

Some have thought that she would be exclusively refereeing women's matches, but that is not the case. In fact, when she stood in between Lars Sullivan and Kishan Raftaar, she became the first female referee to preside over a men's match in NXT history.

Congratulations to Kennadi Brink on being the first full-time female referee in WWE history.
