NXT Has Two Steel Cage Matches, Colt Cabana Wins AEW In-Ring Debut | Post-NXT/AEW Fight-Size Update

Here’s your post-NXT/AEW fight-size update for March 4, 2020:

NXT:

Baron Corbin Drafted To WWE SmackDown, Alba Fyre And Isla Dawn Drafted To WWE Raw In 2024 WWE Draft

- NXT tonight provided viewers not one, but two steel cage matches. The first one saw Dakota Kai beat Tegan Nox with the help of Raquel Gonzalez and highlights can be seen in the video at the top of the page.

- The other steel cage match saw Roderick Strong defeat Velveteen Dream after Dream pushed him out of the cage, but Dream did lock himself inside the cage after the match with NXT Champion Adam Cole.

- Mauro Ranallo said on commentary that Dominik Dijakovic suffered a hamstring hematoma and is considered week-to-week after being attacked by Damian Priest last week. Dijakovic let his feelings regarding Priest known on Twitter.

- Finn Balor says he's coming for NXT UK Champion WALTER.

- Austin Theory picked up a win over Isaiah “Swerve” Scott tonight.

- Ranallo sat down with Johnny Gargano.

- Two title matches are set for next week’s episode of NXT, taking place at the WWE Performance Center.

- The duo of Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish defeated Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch and then called out The BroserWeights to an NXT Tag Team title rematch. But before things can get settled between the two, Grizzled Young Veterans spoiled the party.

AEW:

- In his first match since signing with AEW, Colt Cabana emerged victorious teaming up with SCU to defeat the Dark Order.

- Before the main event could get underway, Jon Moxley was attacked by The Inner Circle and so, Darby Allin had to face off against Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a handicap match, but his valiant effort wasn’t enough to get the win.

- In women’s action, Big Swole defeated Leva Bates with Britt Baker on commentary.

- MJF had some harsh words for Cody after their match at AEW Revolution.

- A new stable has been formed as PAC, Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix are now known as Death Triangle.

- Moxley opened Dynamite with a fiery promo, saying he'll defend the belt against anyone and that pro wrestling is back.

- Next week's episode of AEW Dynamite will see the official rules for the upcoming Blood & Guts match be revealed.

- Jake “The Snake” Roberts showed up on Dynamite tonight to confront Cody.
