Vic Joseph and Booker T announced that NXT New Year's Evil will return as a television special on Tuesday, January 2.
NXT New Year's Evil has been an annual special since 2021.
By winning the men's Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, Trick Williams earned a shot at the NXT Championship at NXT New Year's Evil 2024.

NXT New Year's Evil 2023 was headlined by a 20 woman battle royal to crown a top contender for the NXT Women's Championship.
The battle royal was won by Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.
