NXT Outdraws AEW Dynamite In Viewership For The First Time

For the first time ever, NXT drew a bigger viewership number than AEW Dynamite going head to head.

According to Showbuzz Daily, NXT averaged 916,000 viewers for November 20, more than Dynamite, which did 893,000 viewers. The viewership numbers are not only a solid jump for NXT compared to last week, which averaged 750,000 viewers, but also the highest since NXT moved to two hours solely on the USA Network. For NXT, this was the highest viewership since the September 25 episode which averaged 1.006 million viewers.

In the 18-49 demographic, however, AEW still won out, drawing a 0.39 rating, good for eighth on cable for the whole day. NXT drew a 0.30 rating in that same demographic, which was 14th best on cable for the day.

NXT saw several members of both Raw and SmackDown invade the show ahead of Survivor Series. Raw Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders, Becky Lynch and Ricochet all had matches on the show, returning to where they began their current runs with WWE. The main event match saw Adam Cole beat Dominik Dijakovic to give his team the advantage for their upcoming WarGames match.

AEW featured the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal which was won by Hangman Page and MJF and Scorpio Sky accepting an AEW World Championship match against Chris Jericho on November 27. The main event saw Jon Moxley score a victory over Darby Allin.
