Drake Wuertz, Alexander Wolfe, Kavita Devi, Several Others Released By WWE NXT

Drake Wuertz, who was a senior referee in NXT has been released by WWE.

Drake was an independent performer Drake Younger before signing with WWE to be a referee in 2014.

Drake was one of the bunnies in Bad Bunny’s entrance at WrestleMania 37 and was until recently he was involved behind the scenes work at NXT.

Drake was singled out in the Samantha Tavel lawsuit against Matt Riddle for an email he had sent regarding a potential opportunity as an extra for Samantha.

Wuertz will be giving a testimonial on Florida radio today.

Additionally, Jake Clemons was released and per Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter, he already has an independent booking date.

Alexander Wolfe has also been released. He initially was a member of SANitY and a former NXT Tag Team Champion and most recently, he was with Imperium clear in his final appearance saw him get taken out by his former partner Killian Dain on the May 18 episode NXT.

Vanessa Borne, Kavita Devi, and Jessamyn Duke have also been let go. Jessamyn Duke was one of The Four Horsewomen alongside Marina Shafir, Ronda Rousey, and Shayna Baszler. She was previously featured on the NXT when Shayna Baszler was Women's Champion.

Kavita Devi was the first female from India signed to WWE and was featured during a WrestleMania women's Battle Royal.

Also, According to PWInsider, Skyler Story (Brandi Lauren) and Ezra Judge have been released.
