Breezango will get their NXT Tag Team Championship match next week.
It was announced on NXT that Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) will take on Imperium?s Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel for the NXT Tag Team titles on the June 17 episode of NXT.
Breezango returned as a team for the first time in months last week on NXT, appearing as the surprise third team in a triple threat No. 1 Contenders match. Breezango defeated Undisputed ERA and the team of Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan, picking up their first victory in 2020.
Imperium have yet to defend the titles since they won the belts weeks after beating the team of Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher. Aichner & Barthel are the lone tag team champions in Imperium while WALTER holds the WWE UK Championship.
In addition, it was announced that Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox will team up to face the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions in a title match. The titles will be on the line at the WWE Backlash pay-per-view taking place on June 14 when champions Bayley & Sasha Banks defend the belts against The IIconics and the team of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross in a triple threat match.
