Karrion Kross gets a chance to reclaim what he never lost.
NXT announced that Finn Balor will defend the NXT Championship against Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Following Balor retaining his NXT Championship against Adam Cole at the end of the March 10 NXT, Kross confronted Balor with Balor commenting, "What took you so long?"
Kross won the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver XXX, but suffered a shoulder injury in the bout and was forced to relinquish the title. Balor won the vacant title at NXT Super Tuesday II.

NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver is a two-night event with the first night taking place on Wednesday, April 7 and airing on USA Network. Night two will air on on Thursday, April 8 on Peacock.
