NXT UK has announced the Heritage Cup.
On today’s episode of NXT UK, the promotion announced the tournament, which will be an eight-man tournament that will see matches be held under different rules.
The matches will be held under six three-minute rounds with a 20-second break in between rounds. The matches will also be 2 out of a 3 falls with a fall being counted via pinfall, submission or countout with a DQ or KO ending the match. Whoever leads after six rounds wins the match.

It was also announced that Kay Lee Ray will defend her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Piper Niven on the September 24 episode of NXT UK. This will be Ray’s first televised title defense since February.
NXT UK returns with new episodes from the BT Sport Studios on September 17.
