Big matches set for upcoming weeks of NXT UK.
NXT UK announced that Ilja Dragunov will make the first defense of his NXT UK Championship against A-Kid on the October 14 episode of NXT UK.
A-Kid became the top contender for the NXT UK Championship on the September 23 episode of NXT UK when he defeated Nathan Frazer and Rampage Brown in a triple threat match.

Before the NXT UK Title match on October 14, NXT UK will crown the top contender for the Heritage Cup on the October 7 episode when Noam Dar and Wolfgang battle it out. The winner will get a future shot at Tyler Bate and the NXT UK Heritage Cup.
Dar got through Mark Andrews and Kenny Williams in the tournament, while Wolfgang defeated Sam Gradwell and Teoman.
Also set for the October 7 episode of NXT UK is Jinny vs. Emilia McKenzie and Andrews vs. Gradwell.
