NXT Women's Tag Team Titles Change Hands At NXT Halloween Havoc 2021

The NXT Women's Tag Team Titles have changed hands.

Last week on NXT 2.0, Io Shirai won a triple threat match against Persia Pirotta and Jacy Jayne, earning her and Zoey Stark the privilege of spinning the wheel to determine the stipulation of their title defence. The deal made was for a "Stairway to Hell Ladder Match."

At Halloween Havoc, Stark and Shirai defended the belts against Indi Hartwell & Pirotta and Toxic Attraction's Jayne & Gigi Dolin. All three teams had ample opportunities to grab the belts but were always pulled down at the last second. Indi Hartwell had a chance to end the match after tossing Io Shirai over the top rope and onto a ladder, but was kicked off by Gigi, who quickly grabbed the belts to win the match.

This is the first title win for both Jayne and Dolin in NXT.

Shirai and Stark won the titles in July at Great American Bash. Their reign ends after 112 days.

Toxic Attraction will look to win another piece of gold later in the night when Mandy Rose challenges Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Championship.
