On August 16, there will be a Heatwave taking over NXT.
The latest NXT TV special now has a name and a date. NXT Heatwave will take place on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. The first major match has already been made for this event as well.
Mandy Rose will defend her WWE NXT Women's Championship against Zoey Stark. Stark returned on Tuesday, July 19 to earn the title match and she only has to wait for a little under a month from her return to get the opportunity she's been waiting for to get revenge on Mandy Rose.
News of this event taking place on August 16 was first reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. Brandon also confirmed that during All Out weekend, there will be another Premium Live Event from NXT. Learn more here.
