Oba Femi Appreciates Ivar As A Mentor, Teacher, Opponent, And Human Being
Oba Femi discusses his love for Ivar.
Following his performance in the Royal Rumble match, Femi appeared on the February 2 episode of WWE Raw and demolished Erik and Ivar of the War Raiders. This was not Femi’s first time sharing the ring with Ivar, as they previously faced off on a 2024 episode of NXT.
Speaking with the No Contest Wrestling Podcast for a new interview, Femi discussed his relationship with Ivar.
“It was just that more special that I was him, you know? He’s poured so much into me as a person and as a character. My body of work, his fingerprints are all over my stuff. I’m just happy he was part of that moment even though he was at the bottom end of that moment. That’s the kind of person he is, he knows the business. He knows what it’s about and he ate some big bombs that day. Kudos to him, he’s still up and alive. You take something huge from the ruler, it’s not easy to get back up. I do appreciate Ivar as a mentor, as a teacher, as an opponent, and as a human being.”
