Oba Femi: Brock Lesnar Means A Lot To The Industry And It’s Going To Mean A Lot To Me When I Get To Face Him, He’s A Very Big Inspiration Behind My Character

Oba Femi talks about what Brock Lesnar means to him and the industry, noting that he is an inspiration to his character.

Femi faced off with Lesnar briefly in the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match, with Lesnar throwing Femi out of the match and leaving several fans wanting more of a potential match between the two. Now, Femi has commented further on a potential bout.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo in a new interview, Oba Femi spoke about the interaction with Lesnar.

“What’s the tea? I mean, it’s highly requested right now. The demand is here. The demand is here. All we have to do is put it out there. So hopefully it happens. Even if it’s not this year, when it does happen, we know it’s going to be phenomenal.”

Femi continued, noting how much Lesnar means to the industry and called him a big inspiration behind his pro wrestling character.

“I mean, I don’t know if it’s going to be his last one. I don’t know how much he has left in the tank, but I know he has. That’s one more for Oba Femi for sure. It’s going to mean a lot to me. I grew up watching him. I wouldn’t call him a role model of mine or anything like that, but he’s a very big inspiration behind my character. But yeah, Brock means a lot to the industry, and it’s going to mean a lot to me when I get to face him.”
