Oba Femi Doesn’t Like Characters That Are Too Strong, ‘I’m Not Afraid To Show Personality’

Oba Femi isn’t afraid to be a human being.

Since arriving to WWE in 2022, Femi hasn’t been afraid to bring real emotion and personality to his on screen character. Even outside of the ring, ‘The Ruler’ has never been shy to bring those same attributes to interviews or public appearances.

Speaking with ABC 33/40 for a new interview, Femi explained why he doesn’t like character that are too strong.

“I think that stems from my distain of characters that are too strong. I’ve never liked them. I think if you’re too strong and you have no weaknesses and you’re just all that, then nobody cares. If you can do all things, then when you do something, you can do all things, who cares? I’m not afraid to show personality and be a human being. Even though you’re super human, you’re still human within all that. That’s how I think about it.”

Femi is set to take on Bron Breakker at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event. Fans can check out the rest of the lineup for the show by clicking here.
