Oba Femi Holds Original NXT Championship
The NXT Championship was established in 2012 with Seth Rollins being the first man to hold the title.
Since then, the likes of Big E, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, and more have held the title.
The reigning champion is Oba Femi, who has held the title for oer 250 days.
In a digital exclusive ahead of NXT Homecoming, Oba was presented with the original NXT Title, which was represented with a giant X between the letters N and T.
Oba said that the title represents how far the brand has come and that there is no present without the past and there is no future without the present.
“This represents how far we have come as a brand.”

Oba is set to defend the title against Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy.
