Oba Femi Officially Vacates NXT Championship

After defeating Leon Slater in the main event of NXT New Year’s Evil, Oba Femi left the NXT Championship in the ring.

On Wednesday, WWE confirmed that the title has officially been vacated.

Femi’s second reign ends at 32 days. He won the title from Ricky Saints at NXT Deadline. He made two successful defenses of the title, defeating Je’Von Evans and Slater.

Vignettes for Oba Femi have been airing on WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown, indicating he will be moved to the main roster. Jordynne Grace, Evans, and Trick Williams have officially joined the main roster over the last week.
