Femi holds onto his title.
The second to last match at NXT Battleground saw Myles Borne challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship.
During Borne's entrance, he was accompanied to the ring by No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights & Wren Sinclair). Dempsey refused to give Borne a fist bump before he headed to the ring.
Despite it being a back-and-forth bout, Femi was able to best Borne to record his sixth successful NXT Championship defense. After the bout, he gave Borne a nod of approval.
