WWE Raw Superstar Otis returned to NXT on August 13 and gave it his best shot, but he was not enough to dethrone Oba Femi to become the WWE NXT North American Champion.
Oba Femi defeated Otis with a thunderous Sit-Out Powerbomb on the former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, securing yet another successful defense for the Nigerian champion, who has been WWE NXT North American Champion for over 200 days.
Oba had previously issued the open challenge and appeared on the August 12 episode of WWE Raw to briefly confront Otis, setting up the match on the August 13 episode of WWE NXT.
Oba Femi retains the North American Championship.

Otis has had a rough go of it. He recently split from Chad Gable, and he and Akira Tozawa lost to Julius and Brutus Creed on the August 12 WWE Raw.
