Oba Femi Says He Prefers Smaller Crowds Due To It Being 'Louder And Feeling More Intimate'

Oba Femi says he prefers smaller, more intimate venues in wrestling.

Over the past few years, attendance and venue size has been a regular direction wrestling discourse has taken, particularly about WWE and AEW. However, another wrestler has come out in support of smaller venues in pro wrestling.

While speaking to WFLA News Channel 8 in a new interview alongside Stephanie Vaquer, Oba was asked if he prefers bigger or smaller venues in professional wrestling.

"Actually, that's a good question. I do like the big crowds, 15,000 and stuff, but I do like the smaller 3,000 to 6,000 range, especially if it's in like a theater or like a smaller arena because the echoes of the noise from the crowd, it's just that much louder and that much bigger and it feels more intimate. I just like the setting of like smaller arenas where you feel like you can kind of see everything as opposed to like the big ones where you can just see like, up to as far as the front row goes. It's, yeah, I would say smaller crowds, three to 6,000 is my range."

Elsewhere in the same interview, Oba warned Myles Borne that their match will not have a Disney movie ending. You can read more about that here.
