Oba has had a steep rise to the top of the WWE, as he is set to take on Brock Lesnar at his first ever WrestleMania later this month after making his main roster debut earlier this year. Since his rise in NXT, fans have been behind Femi, with that feeling only growing further since his callup. That being said, his rise has not come without moments of alleviating the tension that comes with being a rising star in professional wrestling.
While speaking to Mal_829 in a new interview backstage at this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW taping, Oba Femi was asked about the funniest thing that happened to him in the process of a match, recalling a referee telling him he was handsome.
“The funniest thing that happened to me during a match was a referee told me I was handsome. That was pretty funny.”
