Oba Femi comments on vacating the Men’s NXT Championship on this week’s edition of WWE NXT.
In the main event of NXT New Year’s Evil on January 6th, Oba would meet Leon Slater for the NXT Men’s Championship in a bout of power vs speed, with Femi coming away with the victory against the TNA star. However, following the bout, Femi would leave the NXT Men’s Championship in the ring, signaling the end of his time in WWE NXT and seemingly vacating the title.
In a new Instagram post on the morning after NXT New Year’s Evil, Oba Femi noted that ‘The End is also part of the journey’.
