Oba Femi To CM Punk: You Want To Drop Pipebombs But Understand One Thing, Your Bombs Don’t Work When It Comes To Oba Femi

Oba Femi fires back at CM Punk after his recent comments.

On the post-show for WWE SummerSlam Saturday, CM Punk asked fans who they wanted him to defend his WWE Title against next. The fans chanted Oba Femi, and then Punk commented on him.

Punk said, “Listen, Oba Femi, without a doubt, is the future. That does not mean that I am not the present. Be careful what you try to open underneath the Christmas tree. You may not like what you get. Oba is fantastic. My experience trumps his ability. Oba hasn’t picked what champion he wants to go after. If he wants to wallow in obscurity, go after Roman. If you want to live under the bright lights, come after the real champ.”

When Oba Femi appeared on the post-show later, he was asked if he always knew he had all the tools for WWE. Oba said he was born for it, almost as if he were made in a lab to be a wrestler.

Oba called himself “that guy.” He then made the following comment, seemingly referring to Punk.

“There are some people who say they are the best on this microphone, in that ring, even at commentary. You want to drop pipebombs and all that stuff, but understand one thing. Your bombs don’t work when it comes to Oba Femi. You are gifted on this mic and so am I.”
