Oba Femi comments on working for Triple H.
Oba Femi has had a quick rise up the ranks, making his debut in November 2022 on Level Up and winning the NXT North American Championship just over a year later. Femi was part of the SummerSlam 2021 tryouts, which was scouted by Triple H.
Speaking to Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Femi discussed what it's like to work with someone he grew up watching and admiring.
"I don’t know why, but in my head, I was like, ‘He won’t care too much about me,’ but he was surprisingly nice to me. He’s a great man, a great boss, he’s doing very well with the main roster. It was surreal, meeting him, because this was the person I grew up watching, just standing in front of me. It was a very important moment in my life," he said.
On the March 19th episode of NXT, Dijak and Josh Briggs both set their eyes on the NXT North American Title.
