ODB Says She's Returning To IMPACT Wrestling, Wants To Drive Her Food Truck Into An AEW Show

ODB is headed back home to IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT Wrestling’s Knockouts division was game-changing when it first started over a decade ago. Names like Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Mickie James, and The Beautiful People set out to prove that women wrestlers could shine on the main stage through their actions inside of the squared circle.

Through the years, ODB has come and gone through the doors of what was once TNA Wrestling but she has always considered IMPACT her home base. Now, in a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, ODB reveals that she is headed back to IMPACT Wrestling because, while she loves her food truck, she wants to do more and she hopes one day she can merge the two worlds together.

Regarding the working relationship between AEW and IMPACT, ODB says she's not afraid of pitching ideas and she does often keep her truck in Jacksonville, Florida, where AEW films their programming.

"I think I only wrestled a couple of times last year. Never retired, just kind of expanded. Obviously expanded my brand into the food truck and the food truck took off. And now I'm like, I kind of want to get out there. I just don't want a food truck. I want a food truck but I want to be more special. I want a food truck. I want to get in the ring. I want to do this and that and actually... so I am actually getting back in the ring. IMPACT, obviously, called me and that's a cool thing about stuff. I've never burned a bridge in wrestling like yeah, we all have our bad moments and stuff. Whatever, you want to tell everyone to go f themselves, but IMPACT was awesome. TNA was always my home and then they buzzed me and every time, I'm like,' oh gosh. Oh boy, here we go.' But, you know, they're like, 'hey, would you want to come back and see what happens and possibly bring the food truck?' So that's my ultimate goal, is actually to drive my ODB's Meat & Greet into a stadium."

It is not currently known what she will do Upon returning, but IMPACT recently resurrected its Knockouts Tag Team Championships and Eric Young, the former on-screen husband and Tag Team Championship partner of ODB is with the company paired with another of ODB’s former on-screen romances, Cody Deaner.

"That actually is something, I guess. I'm not afraid to pitch anything. That was actually one thing. I said, Jacksonville's an hour away from me. I've been having my food truck there. Why not drive the bitch right in, you know, go after some of those chicks?"

IMPACT Wrestling also recently said goodbye to a longtime knockout as Madison Rayne and announced her retirement. You can learn more about that at this link.
