Okumura To Be Recognized For His Contributions To Promoting Cultural Exchange Between Japan & Mexico Through Pro Wrestling

An honor for Okumura.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is presenting the Foreign Minister’s Commendation Ceremony on September 5th in Tokyo, Japan.
One of the individuals who is going to be recognized is 30-year wrestling veteran Okumura. He is one of the individuals being honored for his way of promoting cultural exchange between Japan and Mexico. Okumura has done so through pro wrestling. Okumura began his in-ring career in 1995 and started wrestling in Mexico in 2004.
There are 173 individuals and 58 organizations that are being honored. That is broken down between people and organizations overseas and those in Japan. They will receive certificates and a complimentary gift.
Contributing to friendly relations between Japan and other nations is what leads to one being honored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Okumura is going to be featured on the 8/28 ROH on HonorClub in singles action.
