Omos Shares That His Early Wrestling Training Was Scaled Back Because He Kept Getting Hurt

The injuries led to Omos’ training being altered.
Omos is six years into his pro wrestling career. He started with WWE in 2019. In 2025, he was able to venture off to Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, and he also made his debut for AAA.
Omos looked back at the beginning stages of his career when he was in training. He shared with MuscleManMalcolm that he got hurt quite a few times in those early days, and it led to his training being scaled back.
“I did get hurt quite a bit during my first couple of months, and then I think an executive decision was made to kind of pull it back a little bit and kind of restructure how I was working because, yes, I could do things and learn how to do it very fast. But, the payoff in the end of me getting hurt wasn’t really worth it so, there’s a lot of pullback that was done, from the executive side because, again, I’m a newbie. I didn’t know what the heck to do or not to do. I just wanted to do everything,” he laughed.
Omos was last in action at an NXT house show in October. He wrestled former NXT Champion Oba Femi in a match that resulted in a no-contest.
