Orange Cassidy: AEW Wouldn't Exist Without The Elite; If You Don't Think That, You Don't Know What AEW Is

Orange Cassidy comments on The Elite re-signing with AEW.

Orange Cassidy joined AEW as part of the first wave of signings when the company formed in 2019. He has gone on to become one of the top stars in the promotion and the most successful champion in terms of title defenses.

The E in AEW stands for Elite, and The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page) aren't going anywhere as they signed new multi-year deals with AEW in August.

Speaking to Brandon Walker of Rasslin', Orange Cassidy commented on the group sticking with AEW.

"This company wouldn't exist without them. It's very clear, it's very apparent, if you don't think that, then you don't know what AEW is, and that's fine. They are the heart, they are the soul, they are everything AEW represents. Without those guys, I wouldn't be sitting here with you while toilets are being flushed over my head. I am forever grateful to those people, and they allow us to do what we want to do. They allowed me to be me, I can thrive in an environment where you can be yourself. Them re-signing is a huge deal. I kind of want to wrestle them at some point," he said.

Cassidy has been wrestling almost weekly as the AEW International Champion, and he'll look to make his second title defense in five days when he faces Jon Moxley at AEW All Out.
