Orange Cassidy’s Old Classmate Speaks About His Success In Wrestling, Remembers Him Being Class Vice President
Orange Cassidy was the Vice President of his old class.
Jen Penton, who co-hosts the ‘All the Fucks’ podcast, shared a clip from an episode during which she spoke about going to school with AEW’s Orange Cassidy.
She stated that he was the Vice President of their class and touched on the success he’s found in wrestling.
“When you and I talk about Orange Cassidy, my old friend Jimmy, I had forgotten that he was the Vice President of our class. On the Facebook event invite, people start tagging him and are like, ‘Well, is Jimmy gonna be there?’ And they all start razzing him, using GIFS of him, because he’s a pro wrestler, and he’s incredibly beloved and famous. When we were in elementary school, he was voted class clown. He and this other guy, Adam, used to do the Hans and Franz sketches. So he was loud and funny and goofy, and now, he comedically makes a career of being almost entirely silent. He’s so unbothered, which is why it’s sort of this half-hearted thumbs up, because he just can’t even put forth the effort. People love it so hard. It’s amazing.”
Cassidy last wrestled on AEW programming back in March. Fightful Select reported that he is expected to make his return ‘sooner than later.’
