Oro Mensah has been released by WWE.
Oro Mensah has confirmed that his time with WWE has come to an end.
"15 years hard work and true sacrifice to make it to WWE. Always gave it my 110% and put my whole passion and body into the artform of pro-wrestling. Thank you for all the support! love y‘all," wrote Mensah.
Mensah was signed by WWE in 2019, competing in NXT UK under the name Oliver Carter. He joined NXT in September 2022 and was renamed to Oro Mensah. He was on Tuesday's episode of NXT in a segment where Meta-Four (Mensah, Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, & Noam Dar) mutually agreed to go their separate ways.
He is a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion.
