OWE Heads To The UK In September With Five-Day Tour Featuring AEW Talent

AEW and OWE team up in the UK.

Oriental Wrestling Entertainment will head to the UK for a five-day event running from Sept. 18 to 22 as the launching point for OWE UK. The tour will be headlined by a four-day tag team tournament to crown the first-ever OWE Tag Team Champions. Mirror reports that AEW stars Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) and Marko Stunt & Luchasaurus will be part of the tournament. The Stronghearts (CIMA & Lindaman) will also be featured in the tournament.

OWE will also crown the first-ever OWE Women's Champion in a six-way gauntlet match on the first night of the tour. Competitors include Session Moth Martina, Lana Austin, Charlie Evans, Lizzy Styles, Little Miss Roxxy and Amazon Ayesha. The winner is expected to defend her title on every show. 

Finally, there will be an Invitational Rumble on the final night with the winner gaining the inaugural OWE United Kingdom Championship. The new OWE Tag Team Champions are scheduled to defend their titles on the final night.

Earlier this year, OWE announced a partnership with All Elite Wrestling with talent exchanges taking place between the two companies

The Dome in Tufnell Park in London will host events on Sept. 18 and 19. Those shows will be followed by three events in Liverpool on Sept. 20, 21 and 22, at Grand Central Hall

Sean McMahon, OWE United Kingdom senior vice president, told Mirror, "We're offering fans an alternative to WWE and NXT UK, by giving them match-ups not seen before. The mix of AEW, OWE and our very own roster from across the globe ensures we are offering a credible and enjoyable alternative. The talent are truly the best from around the world and each of the five shows will be offering something different and remarkable."
