The final of the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament is set.
On the May 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe and Kyle O’Reilly fought for a spot in the finals of the inaugural competition. The winner would move on to the finals at Double or Nothing, where Adam Cole awaits.
The two men had a back-and-forth encounter, trading vicious strikes and submission attempts all throughout. In the end, after O'Reilly miscued a pinning attempt, Joe was able to lock in a rear-naked choke and win the match, advancing to the finals at Double or Nothing in the process.
