OZAWA Makes Surprise Appearance At Dragongate Event, Asks To Be Part Of October 11th Show
OZAWA is fresh off of major surgery.
Dragongate Japan Pro-Wrestling held an event on 9/24 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The main event bout saw Minoru Suzuki and YAMATO defeat Shun Skywalker and Takashi Sugiura.
As Skywalker and Sugiura were giving their backstage comments, appearing alongside them on crutches was former GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA. On 9/15, OZAWA underwent ligament reconstruction surgery on his foot after suffering an injury during Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament.
OZAWA inquired about appearing at Dragongate’s October 11th show at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall. He stated he’ll be there as a second.
