Paige Comments On WWE Return: “Did You Miss Me? Another Debut, Another Championship”
Paige reacts to her comeback.
It had been advertised for night one of WrestleMania 42 that The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) would be defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against the duos of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella).
On a late-March edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Nikki suffered an ankle injury during a tag bout, and since that injury, her status for WrestleMania was up in the air.
Come time for the title match, The Bella Twins made their entrance last, and Nikki was on a crutch. She stated that she was not able to get cleared, but she found an old friend to team with Brie. She then introduced the returning three-time WWE Women’s Champion Paige.
Paige and Brie Bella went on to capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles, and afterward, Paige took to X to comment on her return.

Paige’s last match for WWE was in 2017. She suffered a neck injury that forced her to retire from in-ring action.
She returned to the ring for All Elite Wrestling and spent several years with the company. She won the AEW Women’s World Championship at the first All In at Wembley Stadium in 2023.
