Paige has high praise for Tessa Blanchard.
While Florence Pugh will get the headlines for her portrayal of Paige in the new film "Fighting With My Family," it was Tessa Blanchard who handled the in-ring work for Pugh. Speaking to The Mirror, Paige spoke glowingly about Blanchard's in-ring work.
"I didn't have any input when it came to casting or any of the stunt work kind of thing, I left that to Stephen Merchant, but I think a lot of people recommended Tessa and I'm so glad they did because she's such a wonderful wrestler. She's going to make me look good," said Paige. "She's just an incredible athlete. She hasn't had enough incredible feedback from this movie. I just want her to know if she reads any of this that she's wonderful and she did an amazing job."
Blanchard is widely considered one of the top female wrestlers in the world today and is a former IMPACT Knockouts Champion. She is currently featured on IMPACT Wrestling and AXS TV's Women of Wrestling.
