Paige Would Like To Be A Manager Now That She's Not SmackDown GM

Paige just wants something to do in WWE.

On the Dec. 18, 2018 episode of SmackDown Live, Paige was removed as SmackDown General Manager. The move came 24 hours after the McMahon family declared that "the fans are the authority" and that the McMahons would be around more in order to deliver the best product possible.

Many were upset over Paige's removal, feeling she was one of the best on-screen authority figures in history. Shane McMahon said Paige would remain on the show, just in a different role. She has not been on WWE television since.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Paige discussed what's next for her in WWE.

"At this point, I don't know. Should I put it out in the universe again? I wanna be a manager for somebody," she stated. "I don't know who but I would love to do that. If that's not the case then, I don't know, I just want to be part of the company. I love this company. I just like to talk a lot. I don't know if I'm any good at it, but I'll give it a try."

Paige briefly managed Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose during her time between suffering a career-ending neck injury in December 2017 and being named SmackDown GM in April 2018.

"Fighting With My Family," a biopic based on Paige's life hits theaters on Feb. 14. You can read Fightful's early review of the movie here.
