Pat McAfee Doesn’t See WWE Return Happening: “Feels Like That Business Has Kind Of Passed Me By A Little Bit”

McAfee is asked about A WWE return.
While responding to questions via his Instagram Story, Pat McAfee was asked if he would be returning to WWE. He stated that he does not see it happening right now and feels the business has kind of passed him by.
“I don’t think you ever say never, you know? Especially with WWE, but right now it does not feel like it is something that’s supposed to happen. Feels like that business has kind of passed me by a little bit. Grew up loving it, dreamed to work in it, geeked honored that the opportunity to work with the GOAT Michael Cole, but I feel he’s in a good spot without me. I’ll continue to watch!”
While promoting the NFL Free Agency edition of The Pat McAfee show, Pat McAfee said he doesn’t see a return to WWE happening for now.

Back in September 2025, McAfee was back on commentary for the WWE Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana.
When McAfee was with WWE, he called the in-ring action of Raw and SmackDown alongside Michael Cole.
