Pat McAfee is back again.
For the second straight year, Pat McAfee made a surprise appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble, joining Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary.
Only this year, Cole did know McAfee would be there. He did not seem to inform Graves.

McAfee stepped away from his WWE commentary duties in September 2022 to join the ESPN College Gameday team. He was replaced on WWE SmackDown commentary by Wade Barrett.
McAfee made a handful of WWE appearances in 2023, including at WrestleMania 39 where he faced The Miz and at WWE Fastlane.
