Pat McAfee Tweets 'Legit Contract Offer' To Adam Cole For $22,000 A Year

Pat McAfee is looking to squash the beef with Adam Cole.

The history between Cole and McAfee goes back years and peaked at NXT TakeOver XXX when Cole was able to best McAfee in a singles bout. Cole would move to 2-0 against the former punter when he, alongside the Undisputed ERA, defeated McAfee and his crew consisting of Danny Burch, Oney Lorcan, & Pete Dunne, at NXT WarGames IV.

McAfee is looking to move past all of that, extending a formal contract offer to Cole now that the former NXT Champion is officially a free agent.

While Cole does have wrestling, media, and Twitch experience, he has never worked full-time in radio, thus must work his way up like everyone else. Cole issued the following response:

On Monday, Fightful Select reported, "WWE sources also indicated that Cole is expected to field offers."

As of now, Cole remains a free agent.
