Paul Ellering: AOP Is ‘Very Interested’ In Continuing In The Wrestling Business
Ellering thinks a contract offer would bring them back into the fold.
The Authors of Pain’s second run with WWE came to an end when they were released in February 2025 alongside Paul Ellering. The trio had been part of The Final Testament faction with Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
The two-time WWE Tag Team Champions had last wrestled for the company in December 2024. While speaking to THE HANNIBAL TV, Paul Ellering stated that Akam and Rezar are ‘very interested’ in continuing in the wrestling business.
“Well, that’s probably what would it would take. Yeah — is a big company picks up on ‘em, or maybe Japan and does a deal with them. They’re very interested in continuing in the business.”
Ellering and AOP’s former factionmates in Final Testament, Karrion Kross and Scarlett, wrapped up with WWE after their respective contracts expired. They’ve since been announced for multiple post-WWE dates.
