Paul Heyman Announces That Brock Lesnar Will Be Returning To RAW Next Week

"The Beast" will be in the house.

Tonight on RAW Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley will meet in singles action to determine a new #1 contender to Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship. The winner of said match will go on to challenge Lesnar for the title on August 19th at SummerSlam in Brooklyn, NY.

Jinder Mahal Comments On His WWE Release, Says That He Still Has Many Goals And Dream Matches

The champion was last present on WWE programming back in April in Saudi Arabia at the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event where he defeated Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage to retain the Universal Title. Brock has also been busy with reentering the USADA testing pool so that he can begin fighting in the UFC once again after his reemergence into the company at UFC 226 where he had a confrontation with UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier.

Two weeks ago the RAW GM Kurt Angle gave Brock's advocate Paul Heyman an ultimatum that had to do with Lesnar either agreeing to put his title on the line at SummerSlam or relinquish the belt. Heyman agreed to have his client defend the title which he will do come August 19th but that will not be the only time viewers will see Brock on the road to SummerSlam as Heyman announced over his official Twitter page that the WWE Universal Champion will be present on next week's RAW in Miami to confront the winner of tonight's #1 contenders match.
